unilateral rolling choice

I have seen a demonstration where the player declared he would roll 6-6. He pick up my dice and put them in my cup and shook vigorously and rolled 6-6. I bet him he couldn't do it again. I watched closely. He did it. Paul Franks was with me and had known the guy for several years and testified that he has never seen the guy fail. I asked him if he could do this with a baffle box and he said "he'll no."

We have no idea how this was possible, but I went home and began working on designing a portable baffle box.

By the way, fortunately this guy was not a backgammon player but someone who played racquetball with us at our club. I told him he would enjoy playing backgammon.
