It does better. It has both diagrams and nactation. There may be occassional use of standard notation, but only rarely, if at all.

For what it's worth, I benefited greatly from this read. Alas, as with Kit's Encylopedia, if I were to guess, I would say that there will be no second volume. But that is only a guess! (If you want to see another volume, go buy this volume first!) Nack and Paul will probably have to start a web site to share the rest of their data.
