"Maximum cube value" in XG2

In setting up a position in XG2 you can set the "maximum cube value". One setting is "cubeless" which is useful. But I am not aware of any form of backgammon with a maximum cube value. If I import a money game from a backgammon playing site, there will be a table limit such as $10 / $40. It would, I think, be desirable if XG2 were aware of that limit when analysing an imported game. But setting the maximum cube value is not the same thing. (For example, the table limit of $40 can be reached with the cube on 4 or with a gammon with the cube on 2.) Clarification appreciated.
