XG2 rollout settings?

I assume Xavier (with help from Neil and maybe others) have done a reasonable amount of experimenting on settings for rollouts. I notice that the default (at least for my installation) is 3-ply play, XG-Roller cube. How do these compare with other settings?

I think for most computers, XG+ and 5-ply are just about out of the question. So that just leaves 3-ply, 4-ply, and XGR. Still, that is 3x3 = 9 possibilities.

Anyone have a ranking for these, both in speed and reliability (i.e. getting the "right" answer)?
