CALIFORNIA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP progress will be posted

Our CALIFORNIA STATE CHAMPIONSHIP "OPEN" division will be posted here at BGONLINE as it takes place over this coming weekend. We currently have 56 players pre-registered for the OPEN division.
Matt Reklaitis has built for us, on his gamer.cafe site, the "64-player, double elimination and consolation" bracket framework. Rynell Nunez will be managing all of the drawsheets at the tournament and will be providing on-line updates for the OPEN at the following LINK:
We have a number of players striving to improve their standing in the AMERICAN BACKGAMMON TOUR "master points" race including: Fogerlund, Gillis, Kazaross, MCG, Bauer, O'Laughlin, Chenault, Mamlet, and Glass (just naming those registered who are already in the top 20 ABT points leaders).
Other top BG stars will also be competing: Falafel, Sax, Bagai, Malcolm, Petko, Dorn, Stepan and Joe Russell (and I am probably leaving out some others).
The OPEN division begins at 11:30am PST on Saturday 12/3/11 and finishes up around 6pm on Sunday 12/4. Come visit and see how your favorites are doing.
