I'm way behind in the match. We play at a bar though I'm the only one who drinks (he's easily distracted so it kind of evens out).
In this situation I redoubled, rolled a 5, he missed (65), and I went on to an easy win (just missing out on a gammon due to jokers) which made me look like a genius and got me back into the match. My opponent was very surprised at my redouble and probably would have doubled me back had I not rolled a 5 or a 6 in which case things would have been really awkward for me, I think(?).
Also, I'm not a hundred about the layout on my side of the board -- his checkers might have been on the 3 and 5 (point on 5) instead but I'm not sure if that changes things too much as I didn't have a prime but just lots of points spread out.
