Blue was (or should have been) concerned with the 18-point. This roll alleviates that rather nicely. Stopping on the 14-point is an option, but one I don't like, with such a big race lead (and thus timing advantage for White). KISS play looks best, and gets Blue out the perpetual TMP (too many points) situation at the same time (that, for example, 10/2*[2] maintains).
