I like 13/10*/8.

A key feature of the position is that XG has two stacks and two stripped outside points, with 11 checkers in the zone. XG cannot easily develop naturally, so hit loose scenarios are better than usual. Thus we like to avoid scenarios where we leave blots in positions where they can be profitably hit loose, and also like to avoid leaving blots in the outfield that might be picked up in any tactical shuffle.

For sure we hit 13/10*. Then we have a choice of 2s: 10/8, 23/21, 24/22, 13/11. Of these, I like 10/8 the best, because it gives a solid position with few possibilities for XG to play tactically. Among the others, I tried to come up with a ranking, but found it too difficult, because there are some pros and some cons to each play.
