Bearing Off For The Gammon And Backgammon

Position 1. I made the "safe" play and just missed winning the backgammon by one roll. Second guessed myself. Reminds me of this guy I used to play with in a previous incarnation. When he was threatening to win a backgammon, he would always say, "Play the game by its full name!"
