It looks like white has a take here - once blue starts bearing in white will have lots of opportunity to leap out and win the race. Getting a shot is less likely to be decisive since white's board will have crunched by then, but the late shot helps the race so it's not to be overlooked.

And since I'm not seeing any market losing sequences, I see no reason for blue to double now. ND/T
