Although this position might appear to require a Jeremy-type move, it does not. Hitting is certainly called for, but of the top three ways to hit, the Jeremy-type play is worst. After the hit, either 12/9 or 10/7 brings a third checker within direct range of the slotted point. Switching to the 3pt with 6/3 leaves only two checkers within direct range.
