Trading the bar point for the 5pt — 21S-61P-51S-21

I have developed an interest of late in positions where an early 21 can be used to trade the bar point for the 5pt. The cost will always include a blot left behind on the bar point. In this position, the cost also includes a double shot.

There are several alternatives to P = Point (7/5 6/5). They include (in alphabetical order)
D = Down (13/10), H = Hit (6/3*), S = Split (24/23 13/11) and U = Up (24/21).

Are any of them better than pointing?
