Backgammon Funfair

A new book, Backgammon Funfair (BFF) by Raymond Kershaw, was launched at the London Open last weekend. I assisted Ray with this project by way of proof reading and advising on some of the content and presentation.

BFF is not a "how to play" book. It is a visually attractive and technically rigorous collection of a large number of fun positions and backgammon phenomena. However, it also contains much useful reference material including (imo) an excellent and comprehensively illustrated review of all the doubling paradoxes.

Carol Cole will be selling BFF at the Chicago Open and the Michigan Summer Championships and, if you are attending either of these, I would encourage you to at least check it out.
