Stick's comment is very telling. We here in the U.S. should turn our eyes to Europe and study their tournament structure and marketing of backgammon. Their tournaments are drawing far more people than our ABT events, and based on Stick's comment, it's a much younger crowd ... which augurs well for the future of backgamnmon in Europe.
