US Open:

Bill Robertie -- 800

Martha Ghio, Diane Haley, Carmen Tomlinson, Phyllis Ames -- 500

Wilcox Snellings -- 800

Jeff Acierno, Ed Pavilonis, Arthur Stein, Dennis Carlston -- 900

Thom Austin, David Winn, Robert Black, Bill Baron -- 1100

Phillip Marmorstein -- 800

Rick Barabino, Tom Costigan, Herb Gurland, Jay Kurzet -- 1100

Jim Baroff, Jerry Elan, Dean Muench, Tony Goble -- 1400

James Colen -- 700

Mike Senkiewicz -- 1000

James Leake, John Kalogiannis, Michael Grabarczyk, Tom Wheeler -- 600

Paul Magriel -- 800

Lila Swan, Dick Cather, Kyle Larsen, Ed O'Laughlin -- 1300

Howard Markowitz -- 500

Antonio Ortega, Jorge Salazar, Rahpael Lopez de Lara, Kauhiro Shino -- 700

Howard Berg, Dan Braden, Herb Roman, Drew Giovanis -- 600

Kit Woolsey -- 700

Erik Gravgaard, Emil Mortuk, Bruce Hall, Stuart Katz -- 500

Jake Jacobs, Jon Stephens, Jon Vietor, Jim Hickey -- 500

Hal Heinrich -- 800

Steve McCormick, Mike Fujita, Frank Frigo, Doug Mayfield -- 1100

Huck Seed, Harry Cohn, Mike Mooney, Perry Gartner -- 900

Chuck Pazazian -- 600

Ian McFarlane, Armando Balbi, Dennis Culpepper, Harold Seif -- 800

Total of bids in Open field = 21,100; 74 players in the auction. 76 actually played the event (from FABN) so apparently 2 signed up after the auction or I missed writing them down.

Horan defeated Sylvester in the finals with van Eijck and Weaver making the semi's. Sconyers defeated Svobodny in the Consolation.

Ed O' defeated Magriel in the Open finals with Barabino and Cather making the semi's. Markowitz over Snellings in the Consolation.

(Results from Flint Area Backgammon News, Sept 1994)
