In Response To: Proposed quantitative definition of skill (Timothy Chow)

I pointed out that NIM could be learned in ten minutes. I mean not figured out on its own but understood when explained. This led to a possible objection to it being a high skill game.

I am not following the logic in your responses since you acknowledge that objection and say it doesn't matter in practice but now say it does matter in practice for the case of NIM. If we accept that it is not "EASY" to become an expert at NIM then the objection about a high skill game needing only ten minutes to master remains.
