You have four legal fours. If you see them all, you can probably come up with the best five with each of them. Then compare. You're behind in the race, outboarded, facing 11 checkers in the zone, don't want to give up your anchor, don't want to give up partial control of any part of the board, don't want to bury checkers, and don't want to be hit. Does one play stand out above the rest? I think so.
