If you buy a topic (most sell for 99 cents to $5.00) it is yours. You can view it on your computer and on your iPad, and soon we will have it set so that you can download our free App on your smart phones and view the same Topics there that you bought on your computer.
We originally stated that you will have access to if for a year because we felt we needed to put some time limit on it in case technology changes so that we could not afford to upgrade to the requirements of new servers or new software that made our software obsolete. To promise that you could have it forever might put us in a position of having been dishonest. We have now stopped stating that there is a one year limit, but we reserve the right to shut down the service if we feel it is not feasible, economically or otherwise, to maintain it--NOTHING LASTS FOREVER. However, should we ever decide to shut down the site, we will give all of our customers enough notice so that they can copy to the Topics on any of dozens of programs that will allow them to do so. In that way, they can have the topic permanently on their computer.
Sorry for any misunderstanding or confusion this may have caused, but you can be assured that Perry and I will do our best to see that everyone get's their money's worth and is satisfied. We have offered a money-back guarantee to anyone who is not satisfied, and thus far, we have not been asked to refund a penny.
Just how much risk is there to pay under $5 for a detailed lesson and flash cards from Kit, Robertie, Bajai, MCG, Falafel, Hicky, Jake and the other fine authors on our site? If you play backgammon you are used to taking risks...take the risk that Perry and I might cheat you out of $5.00.
