Taking two off seems automatic (same number of shots), but it shouldn't matter much either way. If we are hit we are on thin ice, if not we win gammon. Then I see why this is a real decision: If we take two off we can't handle the 22-roll safely next time. I think the extra equity gained by taking two off is so small, that the potential 22-roll becomes the decider.
