Striking the right balance

Another one of those "simple" plays that takes a bit of judgment. I hope to escape my last checker next turn, and getting hit by a fly shot could undo that. On the other hand, I want some flexibility up front so I can avoid leaving shots in the future. Should I play clean (10/8), leave the single blot/builder in the outfield (8/6), or bring a second blot/builder down (13/11)? How much risk is warranted?
