Pity or not?

If you read reports about the 70s or 80s you get caracterizations of players like: 'he steered often into complex backgames' or 'he was a fan of outfield primes' or 'she was known for her deeptakin (cubes)'. Nowadays, you don't find these kind of profils. I think it's a pity that there's just the PR what seems to be significant. Different styles are not mentioned anymore. I think, it's a pity. What do you think?
