Monte Carlo Font & Wind of Change

All of my books have been written using the Monte Carlo true type font which has served me (and other writers) well.
I have recently switched to a Mac platform for a variety of reasons but crucially because I can happily run XG on it using Parallels.
Sadly when I came to recommence work on "Wind of Change" I discovered the Mac version of the Font hasn't been updated since 2003 and it doesn't work on OS X. Since the creator of the font, Steve Smith, was killed in a bike accident several years ago nobody at Alpine fonts is capable of updating the fonts so one request from this post is if there are any font specialists out there please get in contact with Alpine and offer to update the font for them!
As a result I have decided to use Simon Woodhead's brilliant new diagramming tool bglog.org - the successor to GABBI - for future work. I am already using bglog for diagrams on my website www.chrisbraybackgammon.com
This change, combined with the fact that I seem to be working harder in semi-retirement than I did when I worked full time for IBM, will delay publication of "Wind of Change" to July.
