Take, of course, leading 1-away 3-away.

But I would take this leading 1-away 2-away, also, wouldn't you? We have the better anchor and one less checker back for the moment, a 3 pip edge, and no really vulnerable blots. White will make his own bar point about half the time and his 20 point with 43, but these rolls only almost equalize with us on roll; a home board point a few times, but these leave the bar point vulnerable; and the rest are nothing rolls. So we should be the DMP favorite.
