With 4 checkers on the 8-point, White's 8/7* isn't as costly to him as typical, and with more in-the-zone there is higher risk when White hits in Blue's outfield. White has gained a couple pips in the race to-boot. Is that enough to make 24/16 the preferred play? I'll try that. If wrong, I'll gain more from the lesson, with little downside since I'll be outvoted.
