I agree, the list is highly subjective. I guess the film I would pick as a combination of personal favorite and demonstrably masterful film making would have to be The Godfather (the first one).

Meanwhile, I have a list of the most overrated films of all time, and Cuckoo's Nest is right up top. Just to make sure more folks hate me, another is The Shawshank Redemption. Just before James Whitmore reveals the little birdie I said to myself: He is going to show us a little birdie, and I am going to barf on the person sitting in front of me. I was half right.
