Wanted: Device to simulate a clock

In Response To: Wanted: Device to simulate a clock (Bob Koca)

Something like that. But it would be nice if it offered just a little resistance and "clicked" into place when pressed. Maybe a seesaw with magnets?

It would be good to find a common household object that did the trick.
