Completely Clueless!

I have no idea whether to take this or not. We have an anchor, and plenty of prospects for making a second, advanced, anchor. All our checkers are in play, and the game has a long way to go.

We also face a real chance of having two checkers on the roof by the time we next get the dice in our hands. Who knows if we will ever regain our balance.

In the finals at Monte Carlo this year, Vyacheslav Pryadkin adopted a strategy of passing any gammon-prone cube in the early part of his match against favorite Lars Trabolt. He surrendered some significant equity in the process. Since I don’t want to make the same mistake here, I’ll try the take.
