The most urgent task for black is to exticate a checker. Now that he can make the important 3 point and subdue almmost all resistance, black is at a crossroad. Which moves would you choose and why. ------ This is a "technical" postion. Black has an enormous advantage. He should extricate a checker ASAP. BECAUSE HE NEEDS 5s to extricate he should move the checkers that are 5 away from important targets (the 8 and the 6 checkers). He can only move the 8 checker safely - so 8/5. Making the 3 point gives a great suffocating power to black. A real pivot position. I liked _3 and thought it would bring more gammons, XG showed 16,5 and _3 equal. My opponent went in for the blitz! _1, 10
