On the Third Day of Christmas

Thanks a bunch.

Since January of this year, Miran, Dmitriy, and I have formed the nucleus of a group that has been updating the XG Opening Book for Xavier. David Rockwell has done a lot of heavy lifting, especially on the 2nd roll, but we have also had major assistance from the likes of Neil Kazaross and others. I apologize to those whom I did not mention by name.

We have finished the 1st roll for unlimted games and for all match scores 9-away and below. Recently we completed the 2nd roll for unlimited games. A version of the OB using those rollouts has been submitted to Xavier. Hopefully, he will approve and release it very soon.

Meanwhile we continue to increase coverage of the 2nd roll at DMP, GG, and GS. When complete, we will have rollouts for all replies at those scores.

Although no schedule has yet been made for the 3rd roll, we are definitely interested in extending the OB to the 3rd roll in unlimited games.
