Your rollout doesnt actually say that 5/2 isnt the better play, it says that its 90% confident that 5/3,4/3 is better. Extend the rollout, get it to 100% confidence.

If it is correct that 5/3,4/3 is better, its going to be because there are more rolls over the next x-ply rolls (x=whatever ply the rollout was run at) that will provide blue with a better structure to clean up than the one that exists after 5/2.

I dont know what the correct play is, and I am not say that one is better than the other, but think about what happens after 5/2. Blue can roll 32,42,43,21,41 which are all more breaking numbers, whereas after 5/3,4/3 32,42 both cleanup nicely, 43,21,41 all are messy but clean the position to a small extent. This is just a quick n dirty mental analysis, but you get the idea. I hope.
