The position I was shown was different from the actual position (a set up mistake lol) - the one I posted here is the different, not actual position, but I found the variant to be much more interesting than the original. Switch the blue homeboard 2 and 3 points for the original. The play I think is easier in the actual than in this variant.

A comment I had for the person that asked my opinion on it was that its much more important to get the theme of the play correct vs the actual play, so as long as you are taking the right approach, then the technicalities of the play will ultimately sort themselves out.
