The reasons not to slot are not the level of the cube, but the fact that we have plenty of builders. When the opp has two on the roof, we should rarely slot unless we are soon overrunning the position which isn't the case here. We'll simply hit loose if XG enters and we don't get a pointing roll. If we slot and get hit we often give XG a tempo to anchor after our slot is hit.
