The safe option (from the oppositions perspective) [64R] 24/14 concedes the initiative and affords the opposition the opportunity to consolidate their poor opener.

The pointing option [64P] 8/2 6/2 concedes the initiative in light of exercising little effect when the opposition follow up their tragic 52S with something like a 32, where for sure, they'll button up and add another zoned checker.

The hitting option maintains the initiative and limits the oppositions' constructive outlet.
