Still Only 8 Checkers in the Zone

Last turn I learned (once again) that improving the prime was better than putting a second checkup on the roof when there are only 8 checkers in the zone.

This turn, we face a similar situation, except now there are no checkers on the bar. If we want we can hit once or twice, but even if we don’t hit, there is no way we can get more checkers in the zone.

Making the 2pt would have us blitzing without enough ammo, so perhaps hitting once, N = 8/7(2), 4/3*(2), or not at all, D = 11/10(2) 8/7(2), will be our best play.

I like the look of four points in a row. Hope I’m not fighting yesterday’s battle.

D (Down) = 11/10(2), 8/7(2)

Mike
