Many are unaware just how good the neural networks are in GnuBg 1.02, so I thought I would post this this trunc for your consideration. It uses settings that mimic XGR++. You can see how close it comes to Tim’s XG rollout in table below.

There may be a shorter (well-played) sequence that gets to this position, but since seven moves is about at the limit of my retrograde backgammon skills, I am happy to have found this one.
