deciding between making the 5 point or double hitting. Hitting twice leaves 11 returns, as opposed to 7 shots when making the 5 point. However making the 5 strips our midpoint, especially if you get a 6 next roll to make our bar. If we hit twice, and they don't roll a 5, our position seems more flexible, and we have 10 checkers in position to start blitzing.
