I have a strong preference for normal speed.

During the parts of the match that were played quickly at normal speed—bear off sequences and the many "automatic" plays—I felt that the 1.5 speed-up was a detriment. It was hard for me to keep up with it. It also caused the transcriber to make several errors.

The way those errors were corrected also detracted from the video. Instead of editing the video to remove the bad parts, viewers were treated to clicks and pops together with rewinding and replaying of the sequences that had been mistranscribed.

I'll take normal speed over that anytime.
