I almost never play D with an opening 45 and see no reason to do so here.

Thanks. It's been a while since I've looked at a book rollout of this opening, and the .01 error hasn't triggered XG's error threshold.

I mostly play short matches on FIBS where aggressive gammon-seeking early play pays off, so the additional gammons from D seem to work out. Against timid players it might well be the better play. But no argument over which play is the book play.
