White is Player 2
score: 2
pip: 1487 point match pip: 162
score: 0
Blue is Player 1XGID=-b----E-D--AdC---dBe------:0:0:-1:21:2:0:0:7:3 Blue to play 21 62S-32T-65S-21
Up (U = 24/21) and Wild (W = 24/22, 6/5) are the two plays that occur to me.Behind in the race, Blue needs to hit, and then contain, an enemy checker. Splitting and slotting makes progress on both fronts.
Another possibility is to try to turn this into a mutual holding game. In that regard, playing all the way up to the 21pt gives the best chance to grab an advanced anchor.
OTB, I would try the splot.
Nactation: The S family is for plays that move the high die on the far side of the board and play the low die from the far outer board to the near outer board. That’s why the third roll here can be nactated as 65S. A more complete explanation, including a couple of examples, can be found in my post Clarifying S (Split), Z (Reverse split), and B (Both).
