When I first saw this play in the video, I agreed with commentators Julian Fetterlein and Chris Bray that the play made by Eric McAlpine was the best play. Eric had chosen the safer hit on the 1pt. Now that I am reviewing it here, I think the more flexible—and more risky—hit on the 2pt is better. Hitting on the 2pt risks 16 shots instead of only 11.
