Nactation:

Under some experimental rules Nack is developing, using a numeral in a bear off with contact means:

  1. Leave the fewest number of blots.
  2. Within that constraint, rip off as many as possible.
  3. The numeral then gives the destination for the checker(s) that are not borne off.

I am testing the new rules in our match. In other testing so far, they have proven useful, but they are still under development. It is possible that further refinements will be made. The usages here may not be the ones that are eventually adopted in the third edition of the Nactation Tutorial.
