I have a subtler approach

In Response To: Opponent handling checkers on your turn (Jason Lee)

I also hate it when my opponent moves my checkers. So the first time he does it, I ask him to please not do that and explain nicely that it is distracting and it also happens to be against the rules. If he does it again, I don't say a word, but on his next roll, no matter what he rolls, I move his checkers for him...usually incorrectly. They usually get the point.
