The correct play gets cubed.

Staying back gets a little more than 1% more wins in exchange for about 10% more gammon losses. It is worse by about .11 cubeless but only by .02 cubeful. Trading wins for gammon losses at this score is a lot better here than I believe many would think. It messes with the opponents cube power.
