As far as I am concerned, problems like this are quite difficult to solve. I have still not found a plausible rule of handling those anchors on the opponentīs barpoint correctly. It is a kind of guessing game sometimes.
With regard to the present position, White has a (porous) 3-point home, but she is suffering from the absence of additional supplies. There are only 9 checkers in her attacking zone. Although Blue does not have any board at all, I feel inclined to break the anchor by playing 18/13, 18/14. Maybe this is due to the notable racing lead.
The both point making moves are quite "thriftless" in so far as they are stripping important points; furthermore, the points which they make are deep ones. I want to pay now.
