11/5 removes the blot and makes it an active builder for the inner board points. OTOH, playing 13/8 11/10 keeps the blot as a builder for both the bar and the four point, which are the ones we'd most like to make. The expense for leaving a blot is three shots, but we are already behind in the race and will not have any problems entering so those shots doesn't cost a lot in equity (I think). And we bring one more checker into the zone.
