Athens Open 2014 - Greece

Dear all,
The upcomming Athens Open 2014 will be held at the Athens Plaza Hotel in the Historic Center of Athens by Greek Backgammon Federation between 23 and 26 of October. Apart from the main events (Masters and the Advanced),there will be a Warm-Up (with Sponsor Prizes,) Doubles event, a Cubeless event and various Jackpots. The format of the main events will be Triple Elimination (FT System) with 9pt match length and 5point LC.
There will be a number of backgammon giants attending this tournament and Mochy will give a free lecture . This is an excellent opportunity to play in a big internationl tournament and at the same time visit Athens in a very nice season.
