i really don't see any advantage to saving matches as a snowie file. I'm not an expert on these things. Until today, i didn't know that GNUBG could read a text file on a match. I knew it could read a snowie file, so that is why i suggested saving GG matches as a snowie file. I'm always happy to learn something new.

I've got close to 100 matches in txt format accumulated from tourneys this summer. I'll enjoy watching every match at my own pace, comparing my moves with the pros, trying to foresee every cube, being able to see the GNU analysis, and trying to understand each play. What an incredible training opportunity! Thanks to all the bot devlopers and the backgammon community for making this possible and available.
