Another note: I would expect these numbers to be a bit low as an estimate of the strength of the field, if you have gone deep in tournaments, and the weakest players are less likely to be your opponents (and the strongest players more likely) the further you go in the tournament.

Obviously many have already suggested this, saying that you would need to look at first or guaranteed rounds only to get a true picture.

I don't think we can really know how off this is likely to be as an estimate of the playing pool strength without having a sense of how much that winnowing effect is skewing the results.
