What and why, 54 to play - Rollout

A couple people did get the right play but only Timothy I think nailed the head on the reason why. One of my never ending qualms with backgammon, people can make the correct decision quite often and still have no idea why they're doing it. I have times where OtB I exhaust all my tools and stil have no idea what's going on, flip a mental coin, and am right half the time, whereas the other half may have put me into blunderville. After any of the plays the opponent won't hit unless he rolls a doubles-esque joker so the plays are equally safe in that respect. What we're trying to do as quickly as possible is get rid of the midpoint v. barpoint contact and to do that we need to rip two off the midpoint immediately.
