MD Backgammon Tour 2015

Hey all.
Again this year we have a big backgammon tournament here in Denmark at Casino Munkebjerg, Vejle. Last time it was at WPT National Poker Event, but this time its a new huge poker event with 1.Million DKK GTD.
Date: Friday 13 February 2015 to Sunday 15 February 2015
Place: Casino Munkebjerg, Vejle Munkebjergvej 125 DK-7100 Vejle
Tournament Direction: Organizer, Peter NM TD, Inga Vigh Petersen TD, Louisa Dahlin Friberg
Format and match lengths:
Freeroll – Single elimination Championship og Intermediate - (from quarter finals, regular cup) Beginner – 4 rounds Swiss (Only players with a maximum of 1050 in rating or less than 500 TMP) Speedtournament – Single elimination
Freeroll – 1*championship entry and 1*Superjackpot entry ADDED Freeroll – 5 points
Championship- DKK 6000 ADDED Winner’s bracket Champ – 13 points Fighter’s bracket Champ – 9 points Semifinals – 15 points Final – 17 points
Intermediate – DKK 2000 ADDED Winner’s bracket Intermediate – 11 points Fighter’s bracket Intermediate – 7 points Semifinals – 13 points Final – 15 points
Beginner – DKK 1000 ADDED Beginner – 7 points
Speedtournament- DKK 2000 ADDED Speedtournament – 5 points, 2min/10sek
Jackpots – 7 points Superjackpot – 9 points
Clock rules:
Championship – clock-preference (from quarter finals, clock obligation) Intermediate – clock-preference Beginner – clock-option
Prizes (%): Freeroll – nr . 1 = entry til championship, nr. 2 = entry til Superjackpot Championship and Intermediate : 35/20/12˝/12˝/5/5/5/5 Beginner: 4-8 players, winner takes it all, 8-16 players 70/30 Speedturnering – 50/25/12,5/12,5
